The Village of Egg Harbor is a vibrant resort community located along the Niagara Escarpment on the waters of Green Bay. Situated 13 miles north of the city of Sturgeon Bay, the county seat for Door County, Egg Harbor is a village of 250 year-round and 2,500 seasonal residents. The Village offers water recreation, walking trails, wonderful scenery, live concerts, public art, and an enchanting variety of retail shops, restaurants, and accommodations for visitors. The Village Administration Office is located at the Paul J Bertschinger Community Center at 7860 Hwy 42 in the Village of Egg Harbor.  The office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.   Wednesday's hours are from 8:00am until 12:00pm.  There is a 5-member Board of Trustees elected to staggered terms of two years each. The Village Administrator oversees a staff of 8 full-time employees (increased from May through October by seasonal workers).
